Eiffel/FFTW

Introduction

This is a very small library of Eiffel classes that interface with the The Fastest Fourier Transform in the West (FFTW). For the moment this interface has many limitations, as we only implemented what we needed:

Real transforms only.
One-, two- and three- dimensional transforms.
No facilities for supporting the "wisdom" features of FFTW.

Compilers and systems

At this point the library compiles only with Halstenbach version 3.2 and ISE 4.5. SmallEiffel is not supported. However, a SmallEiffel port should be very easy.

We have tested this code on Sun Solaris, Linux (RH 6.1) and Windows NT.

I have recompiled the library and the tests with EiffelStudio 5.1. Tests work fine with FFTW version 2.1.3. (11/05/2002)
