Pictures of Flowers

These pictures were taken on a bright sunny day. One problem with the Mavica is that when it's really bright outside it's hard to see the picture on the LCD view-finder. In the picture on the right I got little too close to the flower so it's slightly out of focus, but this seems to make the picture more striking.

These flowers are the the cherry tree that grows in front of my house. As you can see it was raining the day I took these shots. I took maybe five or six pictures, but on number of them I got too close and they turned out to be out of focus.
